Are your essence elixirs natural?
Solanaceae Noir Whispered Essence Elixirs are crafted using a curated mix of botanical extracts, essential oils, and modern aroma ingredients — allowing us to create nuanced, emotionally resonant scents while maintaining skin safety and nourishing hydration.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Our Whispered Essence Elixirs are 100% vegan and never tested on animals. We do not use animal-derived ingredients such as ambergris, musk, honey, or beeswax.
Our Nourishing Oil Base
Each Whispered Essence Elixir is built on a base of five skin-loving oils, selected for their featherlight texture, non-comedogenic nature, and ability to carry fragrance through the skin’s warmth. This is the foundation of every elixir we craft:
Golden Jojoba Oil: Closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, offering deep hydration and balance. We choose golden jojoba over the more common refined, clear jojoba oil because it retains its full vitamin profile and antioxidant content. Its soft golden color is a sign of purity — imparting a gentle, radiant glow while remaining lightweight and non-comedogenic.
Abyssinian Oil: A light, luxurious oil with a silky-smooth glide and subtle glow. Its refined texture allows the fragrance to unfold gracefully while nourishing the skin.
Fractionated Coconut Oil: Ultra-light, liquid at all temperatures, and non-comedogenic. Unlike solid or virgin coconut oil, this version absorbs quickly, moisturizes deeply without residue, and enhances scent diffusion. Breathable and ideal for layering.
Vitamin E Oil: A natural antioxidant that protects and preserves both the formula and your skin, extending the life of your elixir.
Vegetable Glycerin: A plant-based humectant that draws moisture into the skin and leaves a soft, smooth, never-sticky finish.
Can I try an essence before buying the full ritual?
Absolutely. We offer curated Discovery Sets, featuring smaller-sized 5ml or 10ml vials, allowing you to explore different essences before stepping into your full ritual experience.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Our blends require a 6 week sacred maturation period after formulation to fully bloom. While we strive to keep mature batches in stock and ready to ship, if your purchase includes a freshly blended veil, we will notify you of any brief additional processing time. Most in-stock orders ship within a few business days.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of our Whispered Essence Elixirs, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on used or opened products. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If you need to cancel or adjust your order, email us at support@solanaceaenoir.com within 24 hours. After that, your order may already be in processing and cannot be changed.
How should I store my Whispered Essence Elixirs?
Store them in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. As oil-based blends, they may deepen in character over time, naturally evolving in richness and complexity.
Can I wear Whispered Essence Elixirs if I have sensitive skin?
Many find our gentle, oil-based formulas suitable for sensitive skin. However, as every body is unique, we recommend performing a patch test before full use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page for your reference.
When will there be new essences?
Our releases are inspired by mood, seasonal change, and the artistry of scent. Join our mailing list or follow us on social media for early access to launches, limited editions, and new Whispered Essence Elixirs.
